YEAR END 2012 NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

Sales of all North County Real Estate increased 11% in 2012 over 2011.   Sales were also up 14% in December over November of this year.   Properties in escrow are down 12% from the month before which is a usual seasonal trend and also down 8% from December of 2011.   Active listings on the market is the real news as the number of properties on the market decreased 10% in December over November and are down a whopping 24% from December of 2011.    The shortage of inventory for sale is going to be the factor in 2013 for the real estate market.
