Sales of all North County real estate types were down 12 % in August over July but up 10% over August of last year. The first 8 months of this year are up 7 % in sales for the same time frame last year. Properties in escrow are down 18% from last month and also down 25% from August of 2012. Active listings on the market were up 6% from July and up 1% from the same time last year.
