CURRENT NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS AS OF MARCH 31st

Sales of all North County real estate types were up 13% in March over February and down 3%  from March of last year.   The first 3  months of this year are up 1 % in sales for the same time frame last year.   Properties in escrow are up 14% from last month and  up 25% from March of 2014.  Active listings on the market were  up 9% from February and down 3% from the same time last year.  

FEBRUARY 2015 NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS- 

Sales of all North County real estate types were  up  6% in February over January. . They are also up 10% from February  of 2014. Properties in escrow are up 22% from February and up 23% from February of 2014 which indicates a great start for this  year . Active listings on the market were up 11% from January and within 1% of  the the same time last year.  

JANUARY 2015 NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

Sales of all North County real estate types were down 15 % in January  over December.  This normally happens each year as sales in January are generated from escrows opened in November in December which is a slow time due to the holidays.   They are down 7% from January of 2014.   Properties in escrow are up  11% from December and  up 29% from January of 2014 which indicates a good start for the coming year . Active listings on the market were down 9% from December  and  up 1% from the same time last year.    

2014 NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS-

Sales of all North County real estate types were up  16% in December over November  and exactly the same number as they were in December of 2013 .  That has never happened before!   Total sales for the entire year of 2014  are less then 1% different from all of 2013 also.  I have also never seen this happen before in my over 34 years of doing this here.    That tells us that this is an extremely  stable market we are currently in.  Properties in escrow were  down 9% from November, which is normal for this time of year  and  up 9% from December of 2013 . Active listings on the market were down 13% from November  and  up 5% from the same time last year.    Again, all numbers normal for this time of year and also indicating a very stable Northern San Luis Obispo real estate market going into 2015.

NOVEMBER 2014 NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

Sales of all North County real estate types were down  30% in November over October  and down 7 % from November of last year.   Sales for the first 11 months of this year are less then 1% different from the same time in 2013.   Properties in escrow are down 5% from November and  down 5% from November of 2013 . Active listings on the market were down 5% from October  and  up 7% from the same time last year.  

SEPTEMBER NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

Sales of all North County real estate types were 4 % in September over August and up 19%  from September  of last year.   The first 9 months of this year are down 4 % in sales for the same time frame last year.   Properties in escrow are down 14% from last month and  down 11% fromSeptember  of 2014. Active listings on the market are down 7% from August  and down 1% from the same time last year.  

AUGUST NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

- Sales of all North County real estate types were UP 6 % in August over July and down 2%  from August  of last year.   The first 8 months of this year are down 6 % in sales for the same time frame last year.   Properties in escrow are down 5% from last month and  down 4% from August of 2013.  Active listings on the market are up 5% from July   and up 11% from the same time last year.
