JANUARY 2019 NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

Sales of all North County real estate  were down 23% in January from last month  and down 35%  from January of  last year.   However,  Properties in escrow are up 23% from December  but also down 15% from January of 2018.   Active listings on the market are up 1% from December and down 2% from January of last year.  

YEAR END NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS AS OF JANUARY 1st, 2019

Sales of all North County real estate types were down 6 % in December over November and down 28%  from December  of last year.   Total  sales for 2019 were down 9%  from 2018 totals.     Properties in escrow are  down 20% from last month and down 7% from December  of last year. 

   Active listings on the market are down 12% from November and up 6% from December of last year.   

CURRENT NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS AS OF December 1st , 2018

Sales of all North County real estate types were down 14% in November over October and down 10%  from November of last year.     The first 11 months of this year are down 4 % over the 1st 11 months of last year.   Properties in escrow are  down 2 % from last month and down 16 % from November of last year. 

   Active listings on the market are down 2% from October and up 10% from November of last year.  

OCTOBER NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

Sales of all North County real estate types were up 1% in October over September  and down 7%  from October of last year.   The first 10 months of this year are down 4% in sales for the same time frame last year.   Properties in escrow are up 15% from last month and  up 7% from October of 2017.  Active listings on the market are down 3% from September  and up 3% from the same time last year.  

SEPTEMBER NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

Sales of all North real estate types were down 29% in September over August  and down 22%  from September of last year.   The first 9 months of this year are down 3% in sales for the same time frame last year.   Properties in escrow are down 29% from last month and  down 27% from September of 2017.  Active listings on the market are down1% from August  and down 1% from the same time last year.  

AUGUST NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

Sales of all North County real estate types were 20% in August over July and up 9%  from August of last year.   The first 8 months of this year are down 2 % in sales for the same time frame last year.   Properties in escrow are down 6% from last month and  up 16% from August of 2017.  Active listings on the market are up 1% from July and down 1% from the same time last year.  

JULY NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

Sales of all North County real estate types were down 30% in July  over June and down 13%  from July of last year.   The first 7 months of this year are down 3 % in sales for the same time frame last year.   Properties in escrow are down 1% from last month and  up 17% from July  of 2017.  Active listings on the market are up 3% from June and down 3% from the same time last year.
