Sales of all North County real estate types were down 12% in February over January and down 15% from February of last year. The first two months of this year are exactly the same for the same time period in 2015

Properties in escrow are down 4% from last month and down 7% from February of last year.

Active listings on the market are up 7% from January and down 3% from February of last year.

CURRENT NORTH COUNTY REAL ESTATE STATISTICS AS OF FEBRUARY 1ST

Sales of all North County real estate types were  down 29% in January  over December and up 8% from January  of last year.   The lower number of closings in January over December is a normal seasonal result 

   Properties in escrow are down 4% from last month and up down 14% from January of last year. 

   Active listings on the market are up 7% from December and up 3% from Januaryof last year.  

END OF YEAR 2015 REAL ESTATE STATISTICS

Sales of all North County real estate types were up 11 % in 2015 over 2014. At the end of the year there were 2% more properties in escrow then there were at the end of 2014 and there is 14% less inventory on the market then at the end of last year.
The average price of a single family home in the North county rose app. 6 % in 2015 over 2014. With the market improving each year and starting out with less inventory, we could see an increase in value in 2016 also depending on how the general overall economy does and where interest rates may go.

Sales of all North County real estate types were  down 28 % in November  over October but up 11% from November of last year.   The first 11 months of this year are up 9% in sales over last year. 

   Properties in escrow are up  3% from last month and up 18 % from November of 2014. 

   Active listings on the market were down 7% from October and down 10% from November of last year.

Sales of all North County real estate types were  up 11% in October over September and up 7% from October  of last year.   The first 10 months of this year are up 9% in sales over last year. 

   Properties in escrow are down 17% from last month and up 8 % from October  of 2014. 

   Active listings on the market were down 6% from September and down 3% from October of last year.

Sales of all North County real estate types were  down  11% in September over August and down 5% from September of last year.   The first 8 months of this year are up 9% in sales over last year. 

   Properties in escrow are up 9% from last month and up 35 % from September of 2014. 

   Active listings on the market were down 2% from August and down 1% from September of last year.

Sales of all North County real estate types were  down  22% in August  over July  but up 13% from August of last year.   The first 8 months of this year are up 10% in sales over last year. 

   Properties in escrow were down 8% from last month but up 16% from August of 2014. 

   Active listings on the market were down 1% from July  and down 6% from August of last year.
